This week, our children had an extra-special visitor—Hamish the dog! The children were thrilled to meet him and learn about what it's like to care for a pet. Hamish even brought along his food and bowl, giving the children a chance to see how he eats and to learn a bit about his routine. This was a wonderful way for the children to understand the responsibility and joy of having a pet. The children had a chance to ask questions, gently pet Hamish, and watch him enjoy his snack.
