THE FRIDAY NOTE (11TH APRIL 2025)
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
It’s hard to believe that we’re now finishing up with Term 2. We’re all definitely looking forward to another busy term when we return after the Easter holidays. Thank you to Mrs McCormick’s class for a fantastic Easter assembly this morning- the children did amazingly! As this is our final Friday Note before the break, can I just wish you all (and your families) a restful and enjoyable time together. Let’s keep everything crossed that the sun sticks around for a few more weeks!
Please find attached some important information about the week ahead. Have a lovely Easter break everyone!
NURSERY AND P1 ADMISSIONS
We’re really excited to welcome our new Nursery and Primary 1 pupils to our school family in the next academic year! On Tuesday 27th May our Nursery and Primary 1 staff will be holding information sessions for our new parents. To facilitate these information sessions, children in Nursery, P1 and P1/2 will not begin school until 10.30am. During these sessions, Nursery and P1 parents will receive more information about the child’s induction into Nursery and P1.
WEDDING BELLS
Over the Easter break Miss Curran will be tying the knot in Portugal! We’d like to wish Miss Curran, and her husband-to-be, Mark, the very best as they begin this next chapter in their lives!
Miss Curran will be having a Marriage Blessing on Saturday 3rd May in The Church of St Colmcille, Knockaconey and our school choir are excited to be singing at this joyous occasion! We understand that this is over the Easter Break/ Bank Holiday weekend but we would love a good turnout from the school choir. Choir children should meet at St Colmcille’s, in full school uniform, at 3.45pm. Children should be collected at 5pm.
Miss Curran will be returning after the Easter holidays as Mrs Fogarty!
